It’s back and it’s ready to change the automotive world for the upcoming year more than ever. The LA Auto Show, scheduled for November 20-29th, will be a showcase for several different automakers, each of them ready to debut their new designs. Buick, Hyundai, Infiniti, and many more companies have lined up 2016 and 2017 vehicles, anxious to show off their new features. What cars are being debuted and what are their new features? Let’s take a look.
It looks like Buick is launching the new 2017 LaCrosse, its striking design has already been teased before the official unveiling at the upcoming auto show. The appearance won’t be the only changes to Buick’s signature flagship. We can expect to see the new LaCrosse’s drivability change, as the Buick Vice President stated it promises to ‘shatter expectations.’
Infiniti will also be debuting one of their vehicles: the QX30 is a higher-riding version of the Q30 hatchback. It was shown in concept form at a recent motor show. The new Q30 had also been teased before its reveal in Frankfurt, so the Q30’s picture gives us an idea of what its taller cousin will look like in LA.
Hyundai has let us see a teaser of the new exterior and interior of their new Elantra and we will probably see some minor changes to the Hyundai’s next-gen vehicle. There is rumor that the Elantra will have a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder included in the powertrain range, but we won’t know the full details until the LA show.
Leaked photos from Fiat’s new Fiat 124 have been discovered, so we have seen some of the features in the new Mazda Miata-based roadster. The exterior and interior contain many similarities to the Mazda MX-5 Miata, with occasional Fiat differences melding within. The technical and mechanical features, however, differ greatly from the Miata and we will see what those differences are at the end of the month. Between the standard features and optional add-ons that we have seen from the 124’s leak, we are definitely looking forward to learning more at its debut in the LA Show.
At the show’s Connected Car Expo, we will see new startups that have many different features improving safety and convenience while driving. We will also see the company Elio displaying its three-wheeled, gas-saving vehicle. The vehicle gets an estimated 84 MPG, and will be relatively inexpensive for its class.
Overall, we anticipate plenty of reveals, debuts, and confirmation of leaks. We look forward to receiving the details on all upcoming models, and getting a chance to see what the future has in store for us from the automotive industry.Tags: car shows, LA Auto Show Posted by
